I am a Calgary - based artist working from my home studio, where I create handcrafted, one-of-a-kind jewelry that embraces imperfection, intuition, and the raw beauty of the natural world.

As a child I was always happiest with a pen and paper in hand. I discovered metalsmithing in the 1990’s through a weekend course, followed by a night class at the Alberta College of Art + Design, and I was instantly hooked.

My path then led me north, where I worked in remote tree-planting camps, fire lookout towers, and drilling sites. During the winters, I trained as a pilot, earning my commercial licence and flying floatplanes in northern Manitoba before joining the air ambulance service in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

After settling into life with my partner, Phil, and raising our two children, I opened and operated a successful in-home hair salon from 2010 to 2024. In 2015, I returned to metalsmithing through weekly classes with Shona Rae at The Blackboard Studio, reigniting my creative spark. When the pandemic brought unexpected stillness in 2020, I established a home studio, giving myself the time and space to experiment, explore, and develop my own artistic voice.

My current work blends sterling silver, brass, copper, semi precious stones and repurposed materials. I am drawn to organic forms, movement, texture, and the beauty found in imperfections. Each piece is designed to be tactile and expressive, inviting a closer look and a personal connection.

My work has been exhibited at the Leighton Art Centre, The Blackboard Gallery, Beacon Original Art Show, Sparrow ArtSpace, and the Alberta Craft Council. I also curated ‘The Makers’ Dozen”, which brought together 13 Calgary Jewelry Artists in a 3 month exhibition at the Alberta Craft Council, Calgary.
